1’10″x1’7″ Jaf Kurd Khorjin bag; late 19th century.

The Jaff are a tribe of Kurds in Northwest Persia and Eastern Iraq. Khorjin is the Persian word for saddlebag. The flatwoven back of this piece is especially distinctive.
